Our Mission
The Diabetes Center is a nurse practitioner owned private practice locate in Ocean Springs, MS. We proudly serve the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Founded on November 1, 2005, in response to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The mission is to ensure continued access to quality diabetes care for our community.
We currently monitor and support over 3,000 patients using insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors, and the latest advancements in diabetes technology. Our team is committed to delivering personalized, compassionate care that empowers patients through education, support, and evidence-based treatment.

We are the only certified Eversense provider on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
At The Diabetes Center, our goal is to enhance the lives of those living with diabetes by equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to manage their health with confidence.

HOW THE PORTAL MAY BE USED BY THE PATIENT:
· Use the message function to communicate with the clinic staff
· View results of lab and other diagnostic tests
· Receive appointment confirmation and confirm an appointment
· Add an appointment or cancellation request
· Request a medication refill or ask a billing question
· View Health Summary information in the chart and send clinic staff request to update
information found missing or incorrect.
· Print or save an electronic copy of the Health Summary using the standard Continuity
of Care Record (CCR) format.
